Eric Munger
Eric Munger is the author of Storm Grazer Rising, the first novel in The Lavonshia Chronicles, an epic fantasy series set in the sprawling world of Lavonshia. Beyond the main series, his stories explore different characters, places, and eras throughout that world.
He is drawn to themes of loyalty, betrayal, friendship, sacrificial love, and the ripple effects of a single choice made under pressure. He believes fantasy works best when its worlds feel lived-in, shaped by flawed characters.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Eric is a diehard UNC Tar Heels fan and an avid traveler with a particular love for National Parks. Mountains, forests, deserts, and the occasional road that probably wasn't meant to be driven down have all found their way, in one form or another, into the landscapes of Lavonshia.
When he isn't writing, Eric can usually be found exploring somewhere new with his wife, Jessica, visiting a bookstore, holding a book signing event, watching Carolina basketball, or relaxing at home with their cat, Toby, who actually runs the household.
